Discovering Nature on the Sunshine Coast

Crossroads Community Church, Sechelt, B.C.

February 26, 2017
Several trees show signs of bark stripping. The shíshálh Nation who have
settled the area for several millennia, harvest the bark of the cedar tree to
make traditional baskets, clothing and regalia. The bark is relatively thin
and grows back quickly.
