Preacher's Advice For Prosperity
A preacher
made his rounds through skid row and spotted his old friend, Shawn, drunk and shabbily
dressed in an alley street.
“What happened to you, Shawn?” asked the preacher.
“You used
to be rich.”
Shawn told a sad tale of bad investments that had led to his downfall.
“Go home,” the preacher said.
“Open
your Bible at random, stick your finger on the page and there will be God's
answer.”
A few months later, the preacher bumped into Shawn, who was wearing Gucci shoes, sporting
a Rolex watch, and had just stepped out of a Mercedes.
“Shawn,” said the preacher,
“I am
glad to see that things have really turned around for you.”
“Yes, preacher, and I owe it all to you,” said Shawn.
“I opened
my Bible, put my finger on the page and there was the answer - Chapter 11.”
