A French Canadian and his family were in Seoul one summer.

Their small son, aged five, soon learned to play with some young Korean children his own age, though he could not speak their language.

The father of one of these children asked him in French, “How can you play so well with these foreigners?”

The boy replied, “These are not foreigners, these are Koreans. Foreigners speak English.”
