Texas Drought Herd any good ones lately? Be careful when you’re “Home On The Range”
These pictures were taken in Palo Duro Canyon, West Texas on July 7, 2011
at a ranch by a cowboy looking for stray cattle. For you folks that are not
educated on rattlesnakes, this generally only happens in the spring when
they come out of the den and the weather is warm enough for them to sun.
The cowboy thinks the drought is so bad in West Texas that the rattlesnakes
are not going far from the den, and they’re returning daily.
