Cats and Backpacks

This is a genuine math problem - not a trick or a riddle

Just calculate it exactly as written.
Don’t make any assumptions (like including a bus driver,
leg-less girls or cats, pregnant cats etc.)
In this bus, the girls get on the bus the same as they normally would
(they won’t be on the roof!)

The correct solution to this math problem is the password to open this
Cats & Backpacks Excel file
- Enter password as a numeric number with no comma(s) -
If you can open it, add your name to the list and
pass it on to others to “scratch on”!

Math Problem

There are 7 girls on a bus.
Each girl has 7 backpacks.
In each backpack there are 7 big cats.
For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question:  How many legs are there in the bus?
(the number of legs is the password to unlock the Excel file)
