Waiting in the maternity room, an Irishman, a Japanese man and a Jew jump up as the nurse enters. She’s carrying a black baby in her arms.

“Is it yours?” she asks the Irishman.
“Definitely not,” he replies.

“Is it yours?” she asks the Japanese.
He shakes his head.

“Could it be yours?” she asks the Jew.
“Probably,” he sighs. “My wife burns everything.”
