Shannon Wray, 25, of Hamilton, Ontario, was breastfeeding her daughter in a swimming pool at a public recreation center when she was ordered out of the pool by the lifeguard on duty.
“I was sitting in the pool with my daughter in front of me, and I pulled down my bathing suit strap and took out my breast and put her on it,” said Shannon.
The lifeguard suggested that she remove herself and the feeding child from the pool and go into a changing room.
Authorities for the pool said the woman was breaking the recreation department’s rule - not against indecent exposure - but for having “food or drink” in the pool.
Sounds like the baby was just practicing her breaststroke...
