A lady found a hummingbird nest at the Oso Flaco Dunes nature preserve,
on the Central Coast of California in May 2003. The nest was built on
very slim stems of brambles, about 30 inches off the ground.
Pictures were captured from the building nest stage to leaving the nest.
Duration of 24 days from birth to flight...
