

Did you know that Marconi’s company was selected to supply the wireless for the
first (maiden, and last) voyage of the Titanic (15-Apr-1912)?
Unfortunately, the wireless operator on duty that fateful night was so preoccupied
with sending a huge backlog of passenger wireless messages (to Cape Race, Newfoundland)
that he didn’t pass on the last 2 warning messages of nearby icebergs to the Titanic captain...
