The only pay phone in sight was in use, so the woman stood off to the side politely, to wait until it was free. Minutes went by, however, and she couldn't help noticing that the man in the phone booth was just standing there silently, not saying a word.

Finally she tapped him on the shoulder and asked if she could use the phone.

“Hold your horses,” responded the fellow, covering the receiver. “I'm talking to my wife.”
