Radio host Bill Good (CKNW, Vancouver) asked his listeners to phone in their
suggestions for a name for a new bridge being proposed to span the Fraser River.
One fellow called CKNW and said that they should call it the “Bertuzzi Bridge.”
Surprised at the response, Bill asked the caller, “Why would you want to give
that name to the bridge?”
The caller answered, “Well, it will cost millions and it will never be available
when you need it the most.”
