“What is your formula for success?” asked the young MBA graduate of the successful financier.

“Patience, my lad,” said the old man. “Anything in the world can be accomplished if one only has patience.”

“I’ll bet I can name one thing that cannot be done, even with the utmost patience,” said the young grad.

“What’s that?”

“Carrying water in a sieve,” answered the youth.

“Is that so? Well, even that can be achieved,” was the reply, “if one will only have the patience to wait until it freezes.”
