Psychiatrist Transference
A man being treated by a female psychiatrist said one day, “I keep dreaming that
you’re my mother.”
The psychiatrist replied, “Don’t worry about it, that’s transference. It happens
all the time.”
As the man was leaving, the psychiatrist said, “Where are your overshoes?”
He replied, “I don’t have any.”
The psychiatrist replied, “What’s wrong with you? Do you want to catch your
death of cold?”
