2 Pi Watch

Inventing time in a circular world

The Life of Pi for a mathematician

Mathematician 2 Pi Watch

Euler was the first person to use Radians in trigonometry. The circumference
of a circle is 2 Pi, and Euler defined 360 degrees (of a circle) to be 2 Pi Radians.
For the watch above, consider 0 (or 360 degrees) as the “horizontal plane”,
represented by Pi and 2 Pi;   with the vertical “90 degrees” point being Pi/2,
and 270 degrees of the circle representing 3/2 Pi.  Clear as mud?
