29-Dec-2015 No. 17 Baylor Bears defeated the No. 10 North Carolina
Tar Heels 49-38 in the Russel Athletic Bowl, Orlando Citrus Bowl,
Florida. The Bears were down to their 3rd-string quarterback (Chris
Johnson) and missing its 1,300-yard rusher (Shock Linwood) and
its Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver (Corey Coleman).
The Bears’ top-ranked offense broke a bowl record with
640 rushing yards. Running backs Johnny Jefferson, game MVP, and
Terence Williams each ran for three touchdowns, breaking the
Russell Athletic Bowl record of two.

The Baylor Bears football team represents Baylor University,
located in Waco, Texas, in Division I FBS college football.
They are a member of the Big 12 Conference.
