The story was that the owner of the car (a lady) was driving this vehicle with her husband, at a set of lights another convertible was alongside with a male driver and looked over and said "How come you are letting your wife drive your car?" The response was less than enthusiastic by the male, who indicated that the car was his wifes. The next day the daughter of the couple and her girlfriend were told about this and came up with this plate to ensure that the car was indeed paid for by me (being the wife); and CLUE-SO - The other plate is on a late model XJ Jaguar again in Calgary. This was given to the husband as a birthday gift by his wife, the husband at the time was a Police Officer in Calgary and was in the Sex Crimes Unit, during some conversations at a police party there was a comment that there was bungling in a case that was like Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther series and the wife thought that this was appropriate for the husband. The husband was not at all impressed at first until he realized the cost of this licence plate and placed it on the Jaguar.” - from Mike Dungey, Calgary, Alberta.
