Spot the Hidden Barred Owl

Finding the perfect birch tree hiding place

Spot the Hidden Barred Owl thanks to Anthony Bucci

“Photo was taken about a month ago in Langley British Columbia, It was an early sunny evening, Photographing the male Barred Owl in the tree, I was whistling at him trying to get his attention, While I was doing that I heard this loud scratching sound behind me, and out of this dead hollow Birch tree the female Barred Owl came out of the tree to greet me with a bunch of really nice photos. After many visits over the next month to this location I would setup my camera gear and patiently wait for her to come out. After many hours of waiting I was able to finally get the shot I was after.
